Prices and Booking
Please call or email us for availability, or for prices outside the above dates. The above prices are for full occupancy - please call us for a price for smaller groups.
You
are strongly advised to obtain holiday insurance to cover the cost of your
holiday and other associated expenses.
Cancellations
must be made in writing by the person who made the booking.
The
following cancellation charges will be applied:
i)
A security/damage deposit of £500.00 is payable when making the
final payment. It is used to cover the cost of any damage, breakages and
unreasonable amounts of cleaning etc. The house is to be left in a clean
and tidy condition on departure and the deposit will be returned within
fourteen (14) days after the end of the holiday, less any deductions for
damage, breakages or for any necessary excessive cleaning which needs to
be done.
ii)
The use of the accommodation, equipment and any other amenities on
site, is entirely at the hirer’s risk and the owners accept no
responsibility for injury, loss or damage to the guests personally, or
their belongings – including cars.
iii)
In common with most of rural France the property is serviced by a
septic tank. It is important that no sanitary or baby items are flushed
down the toilets and that only French toilet paper is used. This is so
that everything can be digested by the bacteria in the tank. Only cleaning
products suitable for septic tanks may be used. However, we do supply an
initial quantity of toilet paper and cleaner which will be in the house
for you.
The
Owners shall not be liable to the guests for any temporary defect or
stoppage in the supply of Public Services, nor in respect of any machinery
or appliance in the house or grounds; nor for any loss, damage or injury
caused by adverse weather conditions, riot, war, strikes or any other
causes beyond the control of the Owners; nor for any loss, damage or
inconvenience caused to or suffered by the Guests should the property be
destroyed or substantially damaged before the start of the rental period
and in any such event the Owner shall within seven (7) days of
notification to the Guest, refund all sums previously paid by that guest
in respect of the holiday period.
Under
no circumstances shall the Owners’ liability to the Hirer exceed the
amount paid to the Owners for the rental period.
